I sometimes wonder if chapstick has random stuff in it to DRY your lips instead of moisturizing them. I suffer from dry lips, and I have a collection of chapstick on my school desk. During school I put some on about every 30 minutes, and I drink at least a large bottle of water. (Unless we are out.)
But then, later in the day my lips are dry as ever. Sometimes ever more chapped than before. I just think sometimes chapstick dries out your lips instead of moistening them, just so that you’ll buy more and more of the stuff.
