My Divorced Parents’ Cooking Differences

So, if any of you guys have divorced parents, you probably know what I’m talking about. Or if your parents don’t have cooking differences, you have no idea.

First, Breakfast : At my mom’s house we always have bread, multiple spreads, and yogurt. At my dad’s house we always have vegetarian buffalo wings, waffles, and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Secondly, Lunch : My mom always makes either beans and rice or lentils and rice. Always something with rice. My dad always makes grapeleaves, ( half dad’s side is Arabic) tabouli, and kousa.

Finally, Dinner : For both, it’s the same thing as lunch.

As you can see, my parents REALLY have cooking differences, but I guess I’m okay with that.
